The dreamy Balé
The ultra minimalist hotel the Balé has 26 villas with their own garden and an infinity pool. They also have several restaurants, inter alia, The Faces which has incredible food.
The gym is well equipped and you will have fun on the treadmill while watching all the monkeys skip and hop on the grass.
The Balé does not accept children under the age of 16. Acctually, we wanted to treat our friends at the hotel restaurant one evening but it was a no since their son was only nine years old.
The Balé has an altar in the garden so that the hotel staff and the guests may worship and sacrifice to the gods.
Skinny dipping? Not a problem!
Geger Beach is just a few minutes walk away from the Balé and would you not want to walk to the beach the hotel driver will get you there. The Balé has a private beach with masseur and the waiter will bring you a nice coconut, fresh fruit or what ever you want in a split second .
The beach is really beautiful and you will not find any beach sellers or crowds here. Geger Beach is perfect for swimming, not so much for snorkling or surfing, though.
I did love The Balé and so did my husband. The only problem that I can think of is that since the hotel is so great you just want to chill in your villa. It is rather interesting that someone on Tripadvisor complained about the street being rubbishy – but hello – all the street in Bali look like this. Or worse.
I also liked the location of the Balé. There are no big hotels around and the hotel driver will get you anywhere you like in Nusa Dua, for free.
